Capabilities Matched to Your Project
Engineering & Prototyping
Frame, lens, electronics, and integration requirements are reviewed before a build path is defined. R&D and prototype work are scoped to the product and requested changes.
Assembly & Quality Checks
Smart-eyewear assembly brings optical and electronic components together. Inspection and testing requirements should be agreed for the selected configuration before production.
Production & Fulfillment
Production planning follows the approved design and order requirements. Branding, packaging, and shipment arrangements are defined for each project rather than assumed to be standard.
A Defined Path from Requirements to Shipment
Step 1
1. Review requirements: Share the intended application, product platform, frame and lens needs, electronics, quantities, and target market. The team reviews feasibility and identifies decisions that need confirmation.
Step 2
2. Confirm the build: Agree on the design and production scope. Prototyping, R&D, app integration, and custom branding are included only when required and approved for the project.
Step 3
3. Produce and deliver: After design approval, align assembly, inspection, testing, packaging, and shipment requirements with the order; confirm acceptance criteria and delivery terms before production.
Choose How Your Smart Eyewear Takes Shape
Ready-Made Platform
Start with an existing smart-glasses platform and review its documented configuration, sample availability, and production requirements.
Customize an Existing Product
Adapt a current platform for your brand. Frame, lens, electronics, and packaging options are assessed against the selected model.
Develop a New Product
Bring a product brief for ODM review. Engineering, prototyping, testing, and production planning are scoped to the approved design.
Integrate Smart Temples
Keep your frame concept and explore smart-temple integration. Mechanical fit, balance, and electrical requirements must be evaluated for each frame.
Build a Compatible App
Develop an app around supported audio-glasses technology using available SDK or communication documentation, subject to platform compatibility.
Plan Your OEM Project
Define your target user, order requirements, branding, and delivery needs so the team can identify a feasible platform and project scope.
Evidence to Request and Review
01
Process-Control Records
Ask for the documented checkpoints and assembly records applicable to the proposed product; review what is recorded before treating a control as established.
02
Test Methods and Results
Request the relevant test procedure, acceptance criteria, and sample results for the chosen configuration so claims can be tied to actual methods.
03
Certification and Production Records
Check applicable certificate details and production-history documentation for the specific product and market; availability must be confirmed before quotation.
Quality Checks Follow the Product and Project
Quality review begins with the approved product specification: incoming frames, lenses, electronic parts, and packaging are checked against the requirements applicable to that build. During assembly, the relevant fit, connections, and workmanship are assessed at defined checkpoints. Finished units are then evaluated for the functions specified for their configuration, such as audio, Bluetooth, camera, or lens operation where applicable, followed by a review of appearance, accessories, labeling, and pack-out before shipment.
Test methods, sampling plans, acceptance criteria, and any additional reliability or regulatory testing should be agreed for each project and supported by its records. Not every check applies to every model, and no certification or performance result should be assumed without documentation for the specific configuration and destination market.
What’s Included—and What Requires a Project Plan
Production
Established: assembly of confirmed configurations
Project-dependent: new tooling or process setup
Confirm: approved specifications and quantities
Agree: production schedule before release
Customization
Established: review of frame, lens, and branding requests
Project-dependent: electronics, smart temple, or app changes
Confirm: compatibility with the selected platform
Agree: development scope and validation criteria
Packaging & Shipment
Established: packaging and dispatch planning
Project-dependent: custom packs or shipping requirements
Confirm: artwork, packing details, and destination
Agree: final packing and delivery terms
From Project Brief to Shipment
Each stage has a decision point, so specifications and responsibilities are clear before production begins.
01
Define the Brief
Share your intended application, preferred platform or frame, target configuration, quantities, and delivery requirements. We review feasibility and identify items needing development.
02
Evaluate Samples & Plan Production
Review available samples or an agreed prototype against your requirements. After feedback, confirm specifications, quality checks, packaging, and the production plan.
03
Verify, Pack & Ship
Production proceeds against the approved configuration. Complete the agreed checks, confirm packing and shipment details, then arrange dispatch under the agreed terms.
Manufacturing FAQs
Answers to common questions about development choices, approval, verification, and delivery.
Do we need a new design, or can we start with an existing platform?
You can evaluate a ready-made model, request changes to an existing platform, or discuss a new design. Frame, lens, electronics, smart temple, and app options depend on the selected product and an agreed feasibility review.
How are samples and production readiness confirmed?
Sample availability and any prototype work depend on the configuration. Buyers evaluate samples against agreed requirements; production planning follows approval of the specification, quantities, quality criteria, and any required development work.
What quality checks, customization, and delivery options can we request?
Inspection and testing should be defined for the approved product and documented in the project plan. Branding, packaging, additional verification, and shipping arrangements can be reviewed, with scope and timing confirmed before production.
